The Paramount Instructors...

Holly Plummer - Owner

Holly graduated from Lock Haven University with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. She holds a Masters Degree in Health Education from Penn State University. For the past 23 years she has taught at a local public school.  She is also an adjunct professor teaching a Wellness Course and a Kinesthetic Classroom Course to educators.  She is currently nominated as Teacher of the Year in the State of Pennsylvania. She has participated in gymnastics since the age of 2 and has coached for the past 25 years. She has coached competitive gymnastics to a national level, achieving a national champion.  She is also a certified American Red Cross instructor. In 2003 Paramount Sports Complex became a dream come true.  

Michelle Marshall- Director of Team Program

Michelle has been coaching competitive gymnastics since 1995, working with athletes up through Level 10. She especially enjoys coaching bars and beam, and excels in choreography and music design for gymnastic floor routines. One of the floor routines she designed won " Best Choreography" at a recent competition. 
She is a former competitive gymnast from Lancaster County and is currently a Level 10 rated judge.  Michelle also has many years of ballet training and remains active with her daughters in ballet.  In addition to competitive team coaching, she also enjoys helping very young gymnasts with their first experience in the sport.  Graduating from Alvernia University with a BS in Athletic Training, she takes her knowledge from her degree to assist the gymnasts with injury prevention and rehabilitation. 
Michelle looks forward the educational clinics each year to discover new techniques and drills to enhance the gymnasts' learning.  
In her free time she enjoys family time,  traveling and trying to visit every amusement park in the US.
Michelle lives in Brownstown with her husband Ryan and their two daughters.

Dakota Eschennman - Recreational Gymnastics Director

Dakota or "Koko" as he is known to our younger students has been working at Paramount Sports since 2006. He originally started helping out with the boys classes, but quickly took on more responsibilities in coaching, parties, and front desk. He is the Recreational Gymnastics Director and brings a wealth of knowledge and talent for coaching. 
Dakota has a degree in Performing Arts and has been doing professional and community theatre/ performing gigs since 2014. He is also a volunteer at Reach! USA. His favorite color is orange, he enjoys long walks on the beach, and loves cats!

Alex Hover - Head Coach Boys Team

Alex has been taking gymnastics classes since he was a toddler. He joined the boy’s team at Paramount in 2004 and competed until his junior year at Hershey High School from which he graduated in 2016. He has also worked at Paramount since 2012, helping with gymnastics classes and as a party attendant. He began coaching the boys team in 2015 and was appointed as Head Coach of the boy’s team in 2018. He looks forward to continue growing and expanding the boys team as well as the sport as a whole.
Here at the gym Alex spends his time with his team, as well as helping with many recreational classes both with a focus in gymnastics and in the Ninja Warrior course. Assisting as a group leader and organizer, and hosting birthday parties, he manages to balance his time here at the gym with being a senior at Penn State Harrisburg with a chosen major of Computer Science, where he expects to graduate in May of 2020. 

Coach Myranda - JO Girls Coach

Myranda is a former Level 10 competitive gymnast, qualifying for Level 9 Nationals and level 10 NIT 3 years.  She was an NCAA gymnast at Division II West Chester University for the 2016-2019 seasons being a Bars specialist, qualifying for USANational Collegiate Nationals 3 years. Myranda's previous coaching experience for 3 years with level 3, 4, and 5 gymnastics. Her favorite event’s to coach are bars and vault. She is also currently studying for the compulsory judges exam, to enhance her knowledge in the sport. 
Myranda also excels in  ballet, pointe, jazz, and modern at Lancaster School of Ballet for 12 years. She is currently still involved in ballet working with competitive dancers in acro, strength and conditioning at Balance Dance in Manheim, PA. 
Myranda is working on her Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades and Special Education, along with minors in Autism and Mathematics. She will be finishing her education at West Chester University in December of 2019. 
Myranda is excited to share her knowledge with your gymnast.

Coach Amber – JO Girls Coach

Amber is a graduate of Palmyra Area High School. She is pursuing her education at Lebanon Valley College, where she will graduate in May of 2021. Recently Amber received the Cloyd H. Ebersole Scholarship for her performance and future promise as a professional in education. Amber decided at a very young age that she loved working with children. Due to her passion for helping, encouraging, and mentoring children, she is majoring in Early Childhood Education and Special Education at LVC. Amber plays many roles at Paramount from coaching recreation gymnastics to coaching the JO team to teaching in the preschool room. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Cooper, going to her cabin upstate on the Weekends, and fishing.

Alyssa, Sherri and Barry - Acro Coaches

Alyssa has been at Paramount since 2010. She is a USA Gymnastic Junior Olympic Development Coach for Acrobatic Gymnastics and has been an acrobatics coach and choreographer since 2007. Alyssa is also an Acrobatic Gymnastic Judge having judged at Local, State and Region 7 Championships. Alyssa competed in acro since 2000 and is a six time National Champion, two-time gold and two-time silver medalist. In 2011, she received the Region 7 Athlete of the year award given for contributions to the sport, sportsmanship, service, and performance.  
Sherri is a USA Gymnastic Junior Olympic Development Coach for Acrobatic Gymnastics. She has been a team coach at Paramount since 2010. She competed acrobatics and tumbling in middle and high school. She is a certified meet director.
Barry is a USA Gymnastic Junior Olympic Team Coach for Acrobatic Gymnastics. He has been a coach at Paramount in 2010. Barry is also an Acrobatic Gymnastic Judge, having judged at Local, State, Region 7 and 2013 National Championships. He is also a certified meet director.


Ashley Bankes - Preschool Head Teacher

Ashley graduated from Shippensburg University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. Following graduation, she taught first grade in a public school in Somerset County. Her husband's position in the Army National Guard brought her to Lebanon County where she taught second and third grades at Fredericksburg Elementary. While there, she was honored by the local American Legion with the National Citizenship Education award for her work in leading and organizing events for a Patriotism Committee. Upon the arrival of her first daughter in 2011, she chose to become a stay at home mom. During this time, she earned a Masters of Education degree with a focus on Classroom Climate and Management.  Ashley has been a member of Paramount since 2011 and her daughter participates in gymnastics classes and the preschool. She lives in Jonestown with her husband John and two daughters, Finley and Eden.
